Louis works as a Senior Analyst at the Universal Rights Group Secretariat in Geneva. He has experience managing projects, supervising research, providing policy advice and leading trainings and workshops on a wide array of human rights topics. Louis is currently working on projects related to: digital technology and human rights, inequality and economic and social rights, business and human rights, human rights and the environment, the implementation of UN human rights recommendations, rights-based approaches to development and victim-centric accountability in international human rights law.

Before joining URG, Louis worked as an associate legal officer in the Cabinet of the Director-General of UNESCO and as a legal assistant for France Terre d’Asile. He also previously interned for the Legal Counsel of UNESCO and for Human Rights Watch.

Louis holds a Master’s Degree in Law, specialized in Global Governance Studies from the Sciences Po Paris Law School, a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Theory from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from Sciences Po.
