Meeting of the Contact Group on an inclusive and diverse HRC membership

The co-chairs of the HRC membership Contact Group, Maldives and the United Kingdom, with the support of the Universal Rights Group, are organising the next expert-level meeting of the Contact Group on an inclusive and diverse HRC membership.

The Contact Group was established in 2019 with the aim of strengthening universality, inclusivity and diversity at the Human Rights Council by encouraging States with a demonstrable commitment to human rights and democracy, especially Small States that have yet to serve on the Council and may be held back by capacity concerns, to stand for election.
