Tejaswi Reddy is a Research Fellow at the Universal Rights Group. She currently works on projects relating to democracy, new and emerging technologies, environment, and prevention.

Prior to joining URG, Tejaswi assisted Dr. Marja Lehto, Member of the International Law Commission for the 73rd session of the ILC where she worked on issues relating to protection of the environment during armed conflicts. Tejaswi has previously practiced as a litigator in the High Court of Hyderabad, India and has experience working on issues across international law and policy, human rights, constitutional law and environmental law including through internships with the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Justice Madan Lokur Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, National Human Rights Commission of India, and local NGOs.

Tejaswi holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law and a B.A.LL.B. from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. At NYU, Tejaswi was a recipient of the International Law and Human Rights Fellowship and also worked with the Future of Human Rights Clinic on issues of rights-based climate litigation in India.
